Kick-off meeting and Conference, public launch event of the CODE Project

Funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Youth Employment

The CODE Project " Competence Opportunities for Digital Employment " kicks off, funded for € 2,314,015.00 by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Youth Employment.

On November 20, 2018 the Kick-off project meeting will take place in the Municipality of Cursi in the presence of the partners' representatives: Human Resources Development Agency (Ruse, Bulgaria - Lead Partner), Solutions Brief Therapy and Counseling Center Rousse (Ruse, Bulgaria), Palidzesim.lv (Riga, Latvia), Save the Children Association Iasi (Iasi, Romania), Alternata SILO.S. (Guidonia Montecelio, Italy), Tartu Art School (Tartu, Estonia), Municipality of Cursi (Italy), Euroteam Vocational Training Center S.A. (Patras, Greece).

- Dr. Sebastiano Leo - Puglia Region Councilor for Education, Work, Education and University;

- Prof. Vito Pinto – Professor of Labor Law at the "Aldo Moro" University of Bari;

- Prof. Valerio Elia - Director of CERPI "Research Center for Innovation Policies"

The project aims to develop a specific interdisciplinary and interactive training program on specialized digital skills such as digital design, 3D graphics and animation, game design, etc. aimed at economically and socially disadvantaged young people who would otherwise have difficulty accessing hi-tech knowledge.
